Spike in Outages

This outage surpasses previous disruptions. On October 20, 2025, around 4,800 complaints were recorded. Today, within minutes, reports exceeded 20,000, highlighting a growing reliability issue for Reddit.

AWS Outage Contributing to Reddit Issues

The outage coincides with another AWS disruption affecting multiple cloud regions. The US-East-1 (Northern Virginia) region accounts for 69% of the reported problems, followed by US-West-2 (Oregon) at 18%, and US-West-1 (California) at 13%.
