“This victory means a lot to our seniors. Even if the season hasn’t gone perfectly, it never gets old beating the Noles,” Swinney said. “Florida State is always a tough matchup, and our guys played with heart tonight.”
Road Ahead: Clemson Eyes Bowl Eligibility
Clemson (4-5, 3-4 ACC) now has three games remaining in the season: a Friday night matchup against Louisville, followed by Furman, and concluding with a rivalry game at South Carolina. To maintain their streak of bowl appearances under Swinney, the Tigers will need at least two more wins.
