Rush reunion tour

Rush reunion tour 2026 announced, with Geddy Lee & Alex Lifeson returning to the stage. Fans celebrate Neil Peart’s legacy as the band hits major cities worldwide.
Canadian rock legends Rush have announced a landmark reunion tour, five years after the passing of their iconic drummer and lyricist, Neil Peart. Fans around the world are buzzing with excitement as co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson prepare to bring the band’s legendary music back to the stage in 2026.

Summer 2026 Tour Dates and Cities

The “Fifty Something” tour will feature 12 dates across seven major cities, kicking off at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles in June—coincidentally the site of Rush’s final performance in 2015. The tour will wrap up in Cleveland in September 2026, with stops in Mexico City, Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, and Toronto.

Honoring Neil Peart with a New Drummer

Taking on the monumental role of drummer is acclaimed German composer and producer Anika Nilles, known for her previous collaborations with Jeff Beck. Geddy Lee shared, “It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I performed the music of Rush with our dear friend Neil. Introducing Anika to our fans is both exciting and emotional, and we know she will honor Neil’s extraordinary legacy.”

A Chance for Expanded Performances

Rush has hinted at the possibility of including additional musicians to enrich the live performances. This approach aims to preserve the essence of the band’s signature sound while introducing new creative energy to the stage.

Celebrating Rush’s Legacy with “Rush 50”

Earlier this year, Rush released Rush 50, a greatest hits compilation celebrating the band’s extraordinary career. The collection concludes with tracks from their final concert, offering fans a nostalgic and powerful reminder of Rush’s enduring impact on rock music.

Family Supports the Reunion

Neil Peart’s widow, Carrie Nuttall-Peart, and daughter, Olivia Peart, expressed their full support for the tour:

“We are thrilled to support the Fifty Something tour, celebrating a band whose music has inspired generations, and honoring Neil’s remarkable contributions as both drummer and lyricist. This new chapter promises to be unforgettable.”

What Fans Can Expect

Fans can expect a blend of classic Rush hits and deep cuts, performed with the energy and precision the band is known for. With Anika Nilles stepping in on drums and the potential addition of new musicians, the tour promises a fresh yet faithful tribute to Neil Peart’s legacy.
