If Iran's infrastructure is hit, the response will be severe

Abbas-Araghchi

Tehran has threatened to retaliate more severely if any attack on Iran’s oil or nuclear facilities is made. On Tuesday, Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, was quoted by the country’s state television as saying.

Foreign Minister Abbas said that if there is any kind of attack on Iran’s infrastructure, Iran will react more strongly.

Tehran’s foreign minister warned that a response to Iran’s attack was being prepared after Israel’s announcement.

On October 1, Iran attacked Israel with about 200 missiles simultaneously. It was Iran’s second attack on Israel in the space of six months this year.

Earlier on Monday, Iran’s foreign minister said in a statement that Tehran does not want war in the Middle East. US President Joe Biden warned Israel last Friday not to attack any of Iran’s oil facilities. Note that Iran is one of the top 10 crude oil producing countries in the world.

Meanwhile, General Rassul Sanairad of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned Israel last Sunday that an attack on any of Iran’s nuclear or energy facilities would be considered as crossing the “final limit”. He said that if there is an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, it will determine how Tehran will respond.
